We will pick you up from your hotel or residence very early in the morning and depart for Nairobi National Park day tour. This is the best time to see the animals.
Nairobi National Park is one of the most unique parks around the world. Being the only park located in a city, being on a Kenya Safari makes it easily accessible! The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city centre, making it most accessible both to the locals and international visitors. The park provides quick safari fix as you can have a good safari experience in a day. The park has open plains as well as highland dry forest on the western side. To the south Nairobi National Park, opens up to the Athi Kapiti plains and kitengela corridor used by animals during migration to Amboseli National Park. Animals that can be found here are leopards, hyena, cheetah, Black rhino, lion, buffaloes, Zeebras, giraffe, wildebeest, elands and many more. The park is home to over 400 bird species and other attractions like the Ivory burning site, Nairobi Safari Walk, Nairobi Orphanage and the hippo pools inside the park.
From the park you can exit the park through the David Sheldrick Orphanage. This is an elephant orphanage use to protect the orphaned or wounded elephants. You can feed, touch or even adopt- a baby Elephant. The gates open between 1100 hrs to 1200 hrs.
Visit the Nairobi Safari Walk, this acts as a safari compliment as it give you a chance to witness many other animals not seen in the Nairobi park. Within minutes you will have seen most animals that people take long journeys to see on a Kenyan safari. You will later have lunch at the Carnivore restaurant or any other preferred!
After lunch tour the Nairobi National Museum. This is located approximately 10 minutes drive from the Nairobi city center. The historical building habours some of the most celebrated collections of art, history and Kenyan culture. The Nairobi National Museum has collections not only from Kenya but also East Africa. Another Nairobi Day tour leads you to the Karen Blixen Museum, located on the farm that the Danish author of the famed memoir Out of Africa lived on from 1917 to 1931. Much of the 1985 Oscar-winning movie adaptation was shot on the grounds. A tour of the house is an intimate experience — in one corner is a lantern that Blixen hung on her veranda to let her ill-fated lover, English hunter Denys Finch Hatton, know she was home, and his monogrammed books still line the shelves. The beautiful gardens and coffee mailing stations still something to be proud of. After this you will proceed to the Giraffe Centre. This is a centre for conserving the Roth’s Child giraffe which is endangered in Kenya. The species can only be found in Nakuru National park as well. Time allowing you can feed the giraffes and take a close selfie with them as well. Afterwards you will have a short lunch break. (Lunch not included in the cost) In the afternoon you will visit the Bomas of Kenya.This is home to traditional cultures of all 42 tribes of Kenya. On a Kenya Safari this is one of the best places to visit to witness various cultural dance performances and huts used by traditional tribesmen. Nairobi National Park

People keep on talking about Nairobi national park mostly because of its uniqueness and its heritage. A day tour to the park will give you more insight on its uniqueness. It was established in 1946. Nairobi national park is the first park to be established in Kenya. It was initially referred to as southern game reserve, where settlers in Nairobi rode horses among gazelles, impalas and zebras. Nairobi national park is the only park within a city in the whole world. It is the only park where you cannot only see wildlife but also adopt it. A perfect example is the David Sheldrick wildlife sanctuary where you can take up an orphaned infant, pay for their care before they mature to join the wild. Nairobi National Museum
